Our Mission
We are a producer-only market. The purpose of the Alexandria Farmers & Artists Market (AFAM) is to provide a venue for area farmers/gardeners/ growers, bakers, artisans, crafters & fine artists (vendor) to sell their locally grown/produced, fresh homegrown fruits, vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, bedding plants, potted plants, baked goods, fine arts and crafts to the public.
What Can Be Sold?
Note: All items sold at AFAM must be produced by the individual vendor selling the item.
- Farm/Garden Produce
- Plants
- Home Based Vendor Foods (HBV- qualifying baked goods, candies, jams, jellies, vinegars)
- Arts & Crafts (must be vendor produced)
- Value Added Foods, Eggs, Meats (must have all required state and county permits/ licenses)
