The Alexandria Monroe Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to seeing our community grow and thrive. The Chamber is interested in providing you with much more than a simple membership. Chamber Members are afforded tools, benefits, and avenues conducive to a thriving sense of Community.

Credibility:
In Small Town USA, credibility within the Community is the heart of Alexandria businesses. Being a Chamber Member establishes credibility throughout the city of Alexandria.
Publicity and Exposure:
The Chamber is invested in the well-being of your business. Publicity and exposure are just one avenue we use to support our local businesses. During the year, the Chamber holds many Community oriented events that will help promote your business. You will also be provided with exposure through website listings and social media promotions. Your company information will be provided at the Visitor’s Center as well as your location listed on City maps. However, our largest facet of promotion is through our e-news letter. The news letter addresses the upcoming Community Events and is distributed to over nine-hundred emails from Madison and Delaware Counties each week.
Networking:
You will be provided with many networking opportunities, but our biggest opportunity you will be afforded with is our quarterly Business @ Breakfast. You will be introduced to the businesses in our community as well as the people behind them creating a greater sense of Community and unity.
Opportunity Awareness:
Opportunity awareness opens doors for business organizations and personal growth. Educational seminars are our fastest growing area for business growth. During these seminars, you will be equipped with better business tools to help expand your vision. Along side vision expansion, business seminars will help to give a clear insight into other local businesses, connecting you to the Community.
Business Advocacy:
This is one of the most important benefits of being a Chamber Member. When a Chamber Representative goes before Government Legislative members, it is with our business community in mind. We do our very best to keep and protect the members of the Chamber and the vision they have for the Community.
Business Referrals:
Hundreds of calls a year are made to the Chamber office inquiring about local businesses. Chamber Members are always the first to be referred to these inquiries, thus helping our members grow.
Ribbon Cuttings:
The Community gathers to rally behind members during our ribbon cutting ceremonies. these ceremonies have quickly become the highlight for many members. We host these ceremonies when a Chamber business has a Grand Opening, a re-opening, an Anniversary, or special seasonal openings.
Annual Events:
The annual luncheon and awards banquet, golf tournament, and bowling tournament are just a few of our annual events to get excited about. This is a chance for members to come together for a night of fun and relax.
